WPA is delighted to host a two-day wheel workshop with Aaron Scythe, selector and guest artist for Ceramicus 2025. 

Aaron will demonstrate and guide students through techniques such as coil throwing, working in sections, and throwing on the hump. Participants will make forms like vases, sake bottles, and tea bowls, while building skills and insight into Aaron’s innovative approach to wheel work. By the end, you’ll leave with a collection of thrown pieces and new techniques to expand your practice.

NOTE: This workshop is aimed at potters confident in throwing bowls and cylinders, it is not suitable for beginners.
