Want to work on your throwing skills?

This four-part evening course is designed for wheel throwers looking to develop their skills and deepen their understanding of form. Through a mix of demonstration, experimentation, and one-on-one feedback, tutor Lyuba Zhilkina will guide you through concepts like proportion and balance, how to apply decoration, and how to develop your eye for design. The course focuses on pouring forms as a vehicle for exploring these ideas.

Goals of Class: By the end of the course, students will have a set of finished forms, improved throwing and design skills, and a clearer sense of their own creative direction.

Prior Experience Required: Students must be able to throw unassisted at the wheel.

Participants to bring their own throwing tools. 5kg of standard stoneware clay is included in the course fee.
