Wellington Potters' Association is thrilled to welcome Rick Rudd — one of New Zealand's most celebrated studio potters, Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, and maker of some of the most iconic sculptural teapots in the country.
Over two days, Rick will guide you through pinching and coiling a teapot in his distinctive style, with tips and techniques you can carry into your own hand-building practice. You'll leave with a hand-built teapot and a deeper understanding of sculptural form.
Learn more about Rick Rudd here.
Basic hand-building skills required. By the end of the workshop, students will have completed a hand-built teapot in Rick's style.
