The perfect 1-night course for new club members who aren't yet confident with glazing.

Join Heidi (Hedy) Ankers for one evening to learn the basics of glazing at WPA.

WPA subsidises this course to ensure new members have a good grounding in glaze basics. It helps you to avoid making glaze mistakes that could ruin your pieces and/or cost you in damage to kiln or kiln shelves.

The course provides an overview of glaze room protocol, stirring, dipping, pouring, with some layering and oxide decoration depending on time. Spray booth/glazing is not included. It will be limited to four participants per class and we've added 30 minutes to the course to be sure we get it all in.

Reminder: Glazing involves chemicals. If you are pregnant or otherwise sensitive, we do not advise attending this class due to airborne toxins.
