In preparation for the 2024 firing of the anagama kiln, the wood has been cut and split (by our lovely anagama host Graham Houston) and now it's time to stack it.
This is a physical job which involves lifting and barrowing. Wear sturdy shoes and bring garden gloves, water bottle, and sun protection. Bring something to share for lunch. We will only be stacking part of the wood at this event, so there will be another chance to help if this date doesn't suit. There will also be less physical jobs later in the year.
Remember when you help with the anagama build up you get the chance to enter two more pots into the firing.
If you need a ride, Mal can bring 3 or 4 people up in his car and will leave the clubrooms at 9.15 sharp.
